Role Overview
We're hiring a Senior Data Engineer with strong Snowflake and banking experience to support a major transformation program focused on migrating to Adobe Experience Platform and modernising data capabilities.
This role is critical in building high-quality, scalable data pipelines and data products that power customer engagement, analytics, and real-time decisioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable data pipelines and data marts using Snowflake
- Perform complex data transformation and data wrangling across multiple sources
- Enable high-quality data for Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and downstream use cases
- Work with structured and unstructured data to support customer data platforms and marketing use cases
- Collaborate with architects and Adobe specialists to ensure data is optimised for activation and personalization
- Implement best practices in data engineering, data quality, and performance optimisation
- Contribute to automation, orchestration, and continuous improvement of data workflows
Key Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Snowflake
- SQL (advanced level)
- Python for data engineering
- Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer in banking or financial services
- Strong understanding of:
- Data modelling and data pipelines
- Complex data environments (e.g. core banking, credit, mortgages, reporting)
- Experience working with large-scale, enterprise data platforms
Highly Desirable
- Experience with:
- Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) or Adobe Analytics
- Java (for orchestration / comms domain exposure)
- Experience building data products for customer analytics or marketing use cases
