You will be working for internationally renowned ASX 50 healthcare provider with specialist operations in laboratory medicine / pathology, radiology, and clinical services. They have operations across Australia, North American and Europe. Committed to excellence in the delivery of medical services to doctors and patients alike. They are currently embarking on a global technology transformation. They are headquartered in Sydney with offices across CBD Wynyard (2000) and Macquarie Park (2113) with a hybrid working environment.

Role:
As the Data Migration Lead, you will be accountable for the covering strategy, planning, delivery, governance, and reporting. Define migration standards, templates, schedules and controls to support consistent and repeatable delivery. You will lead a shared program workstream, managing Data Migration Analysts across both Workday and D365 streams to deliver repeatable migration cycles and high-quality data uplift.
This is a critical role within the Corporate Technology division reporting to the Head of Data services, ensuring that data is accurate, secure, and ready for critical testing phases and go-live.
Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Governance: Establish a fit-for-purpose migration approach and governance model applicable to both Workday and D365 programs.
  • Technical Leadership: Drive data mapping, transformation logic, validation, and reconciliation activities, ensuring formal sign-offs at every milestone.
  • Execution Management: Plan and manage mock migrations and cutover execution, including defect triage and resolution.
  • Data Quality & Risk: Lead profiling and cleansing coordination to reduce rework while actively managing migration risks and dependencies.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a structured communicator between technical teams and business stakeholders, providing transparent reporting to program leadership.


To be successful you will have:

  • 5+ years of experience leading end-to-end data migration workstreams on large ERP and/or HCM transformation programs - D365FO is must
  • Experience moving large table and sources from on-prem environments to cloud
  • Experience delivering multi entity, multi country, and multicurrency migrations, including high volume datasets and performance tuning for bulk loads
  • Experience working across complex legacy landscapes, involving multiple source systems and staged or incremental cutover approaches
  • Strong capability in data mapping, transformation logic, validation, reconciliation, and defect resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders across business and technical teams, with clear reporting of progress, risks, and issues
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of ETL concepts and tools such as SQL, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or modern cloud-based data platforms
  • Microsoft Dynamics, Azure or Workday Pro certifications are advantageous
  • Delivery Track Record: Proven ability to manage repeatable data load cycles across multiple environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Production).
  • Leadership: Experience managing small teams of analysts and coordinating with external delivery partners or vendors.
