Role:

You will be joining and engagement with an established team working with an Australian-based education organisations that partners with universities to design, develop, and manage online and blended education programs . You will play a technical role on the project to implement solutions, provide technical walk-through to developers and client features owners. This will involve building, System Testing handover/ co-ordination, documentation and deployment activities. The project is Experience Cloud focussed with hands on LWC and LWR sites.

• Develop and remediate Salesforce solutions across a legacy codebase using Apex classes, triggers, and Visualforce pages, with a focus on stabilisation and modernisation
• Lead technical debt reduction initiatives, including remediation of cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities and resolving DML operations within loops to improve performance and security
• Drive migration from Visualforce pages to Lightning Web Components (LWC), ensuring scalable and maintainable architecture aligned with best practices
• Work across Experience Cloud (including LWR sites), contributing to both enhancement and re-architecture of legacy components
• Build and maintain integrations with external applications using REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, and Single Sign-On
• Support CI/CD and environment management across dev, test, and production using tools such as Salesforce DX, Jenkins, and Git
• Collaborate closely with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to validate solutions and ensure alignment with long-term platform strategy

You will have:

• 4+ years Salesforce Development experience with strong exposure to legacy Salesforce implementations
• Proven hands-on experience with Visualforce pages, Apex (classes, triggers, batch), and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Strong experience working on technical debt remediation, including security vulnerabilities (e.g. XSS) and performance issues such as DML in loops
• Experience migrating legacy Visualforce-based applications to modern Lightning frameworks (LWC/Aura)
• Solid understanding of Experience Cloud, ideally with exposure to LWR sites
• Experience with integrations using REST, SOAP APIs, OAuth, and Single Sign-On
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools including Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Salesforce DX
• Ability to work in Agile environments and contribute to complex, large-scale platform transformations
