About the role
This role sits within a nimble internal security team which is heavily augmented by a managed SOC. You will sit within a team responsible for the security platforms and work heavily on integration, automation and general uplift across their environment. The initial focus will be on general uplift, with AppSec and DevSecops style work as an ongoing project along with enabling AI in the business. From a technical perspective, they are a hybrid Windows/MacOS shop with a large amount of software engineers, security tooling is broad - Microsoft stack mostly but looking to build out agentic workflows and embedding into their DLP technology.

In this role they are focused on how you think as much as the tooling you have used.

Duties

• Security engineering across their environment
• Technical implementation and support zScaler initial project in progress
• Help build out cloud security posture
• Work with senior technical stakeholders to bake security into their environment
• Build out agentic security workflows

Skills and experience

• To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience as a Security Engineer
• Strong skills with a range of security technologies
• Prior experience in a cloud native environment ideally
• Skills and experience with automation - highly regarded
• Experience with agentic AI and security of this - highly regarded​​​​​​​
• Excellent Communication skills - written and verbal
• Industry certifications are highly regarded
