Talenza's client, a leading Financial Services organization based in Brisbane, is looking for a Senior Change Manager to support a Data Program and drive transformation to ensure effective data governance and information management to meet compliance requirements. This is on an initial 6 months contract with likely extension with a hybrid working week based in Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery of the data governance program, focusing on mindset shifts, stakeholder engagement, and business outcomes.
• Drive adoption of the data governance framework through hands-on education and clear communication of roles and responsibilities related to data ownership and accountability.
• Develop and implement strategies for engaging stakeholders, ensuring the alignment of data management practices with regulatory requirements and business goals.
• Design and oversee the setup of a Data Governance Council to ensure the long-term sustainability of the data governance program.
• Influence behavior change and build change capability across the business to support the transformation of data management practices.
• Collaborate with data experts, such as Information and Data Architects, to ensure effective implementation of data management frameworks.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Change Manager with strong experience in delivering enterprise change and business transformation intiatives.
• Proven strong experience projects/programs involving data governance.
• Ability to translate technical frameworks into practical, meaningful language for business audiences.
• Hands-on, delivery-focused approach with a proven track record in driving large-scale, business-critical change initiatives.
• Strong influence and communication skills to engage stakeholders and drive behavior change across diverse teams.
