Delivery Lead - Process Transformation & Operational Change
Sydney | 12M Contract
About the Role
We're partnering with a leading financial services organisation to engage a Delivery Lead to drive end-to-end execution of large-scale process transformation and operational improvement initiatives. This role sits within a high-performing change and transformation function focused on improving efficiency, modernising core banking operations, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex transformation initiatives across business and technology streams
- Manage delivery plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and outcomes across cross-functional teams
- Drive execution of process optimisation, automation, and AI-enabled initiatives within banking operations
- Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to ensure alignment and delivery success
- Oversee delivery across workflow, case management, and operational change initiatives
- Facilitate governance, steering committees, and senior stakeholder reporting
- Manage risks, issues, and change impacts to ensure successful implementation and adoption
- Ensure delivery aligns with regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements within banking
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Delivery Lead, Project Manager, or similar role within financial services (essential)
- Strong background delivering process improvement, operational change, or transformation programs
- Experience leading end-to-end delivery in Agile or hybrid environments
- Strong understanding of workflow-driven or process-led environments
- Experience delivering initiatives involving automation or AI-enabled capabilities highly regarded
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior business and technology partners
- Strong governance, planning, and delivery execution capability
Nice to Have
- Experience in payments, lending, or customer operations environments
- Exposure to regulatory or compliance-driven change programs
- Understanding of data, integration, or platform delivery environments
