Team size: ~25 (5 Direct Reports)
Talenza is partnering with a prestigious national brand to appoint a General Manager, Data, AI & Analytics. This is a pivotal leadership role focused on building capability, not just delivering outputs. You'll shape how the organisation evolves from traditional reporting into a truly data and intelligence-led, AI-enabled business.
This is less about dashboards, more about transformation.
This role sits at the centre of enterprise enablement. You'll be responsible for lifting data maturity across the organisation, embedding analytics and AI into everyday decision-making, while ensuring governance, trust and responsible use. You will work closely with the CIO and executive team, enabling every business unit to unlock value from data.
- Own and execute the enterprise data, analytics and AI strategy.
- Lead the evolution from BI reporting to predictive and prescriptive analytics.
- Drive AI enablement across the organisation, from strategy through to execution.
- Establish and embed responsible AI frameworks, governance and ethical standards.
- Identify and prioritise high-value AI use cases with measurable outcomes.
- Uplift organisation-wide data and AI literacy across leaders and teams.
- Build and lead high-performing, multidisciplinary teams across data, analytics and AI.
- Ensure strong data governance, quality, security and compliance.
- Organisation-wide trust and confidence in data.
- Strong adoption of self-service analytics.
- AI embedded in day-to-day decision-making.
- Clear, effective AI governance and risk controls.
- Tangible business value realised from AI initiatives.
- Proven senior leadership experience across data, analytics or AI in large, complex environments.
- Strong understanding of modern data platforms, analytics and AI ecosystems.
- Track record of driving enterprise-wide transformation through data.
- Clear and pragmatic perspective on responsible and ethical AI.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at executive level.
- Experience enabling multiple business domains through shared capability.
