An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Data Quality Manager to join a major enterprise-wide transformation and data migration program.
This role will play a key part in driving and coordinating data quality initiatives across complex business and technology environments. Working closely with senior delivery stakeholders, you will help ensure data quality activities are effectively planned, executed, tracked, and delivered in alignment with migration milestones and governance requirements.
This is a highly collaborative role requiring close engagement with Business, Data, Technology, Operations, remediation teams, and downstream consumers. It is ideally suited to someone who is hands-on, structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating within large-scale, fast-paced transformation environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support end-to-end data quality activities across large-scale migration and transformation programs
- Perform and oversee data profiling, validation, reconciliation, defect triage, and remediation tracking activities
- Work closely with business, operational, and technology teams to ensure delivery timelines and priorities are achieved
- Translate business and technical requirements into actionable data quality outcomes
- Monitor dependencies, risks, and delivery progress, escalating issues where required
- Produce and maintain data quality documentation including rules, validation evidence, reporting, governance artefacts, and approval packs
- Support governance forums and provide clear status reporting to stakeholders and leadership teams
- Ensure evidence and deliverables align with agreed migration milestones, standards, and controls
- Facilitate collaboration across teams to maintain delivery momentum and alignment
Skills & Experience
- 7+ years' experience in data quality, business analysis, or data-focused delivery roles
- Proven experience supporting large-scale data migration or transformation programs
- Strong hands-on experience with data profiling, validation, remediation coordination, and defect management
- Experience working within financial services or other highly regulated environments is highly regarded
- Strong understanding of enterprise data quality frameworks, governance, and controls
- Proven ability to coordinate across Business, Data, Technology, and Operations teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to clearly articulate issues, risks, dependencies, and remediation pathways
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in complex environments
- Experience producing high-quality governance and delivery documentation including:
- Data quality rules
- Validation evidence
- Reporting packs
- Approval and governance artefacts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivery quality and auditability
- Comfortable working in Agile and enterprise delivery environments
- Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset
- Ability to operate effectively within ambiguous and evolving transformation programs
