Description
Are you a hands-on Project Manager who enjoys rolling up your sleeves and making things happen?
The Transformation Group are partnering with a fast-growing business supporting the future of electric vehicle mobility for rideshare drivers, to deliver a key office relocation project in Sydney.
This is not a traditional construction or fit-out role. Instead, we are looking for someone who can manage the operational, logistical, and technology coordination aspects of an office move - ensuring the business transitions smoothly with minimal disruption.
You'll work closely with stakeholders across technology, operations, workplace, vendors, and leadership to coordinate all moving parts of the relocation for a team of approximately 25 employees.
This role would suit either:
- A Project Manager with previous office relocation experience, or
- A strong Project Coordinator ready to step into a PM role, provided they have exposure to office move projects and excellent coordination skills.
The role is Sydney-based with a hybrid working arrangement (3 days onsite, increasing closer to the move if required). The project is due to commence mid-June, with the office relocation targeted for late October.
Fixed-Term Contract Role: 6 Months initial Contract role with a likelihood of extension.
Pay: Between $120,000 to $130,000 + Super on a per annum basis.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and coordinate the end-to-end office relocation program for the Sydney office
- Manage the logistics and operational planning associated with the move
- Coordinate technology and infrastructure transition activities, including workplace technology setup and connectivity requirements
- Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and operational impacts
- Facilitate discussions across teams to ensure the right people are engaged at the right time (e.g. technology, facilities, workplace operations, security, insurance providers, internet/network setup)
- Coordinate procurement and practical setup activities where needed, including office supplies and relocation requirements
- Support change management and communication activities to ensure a smooth transition for employees
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, action trackers, and status updates
- Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the relocation program
- Ensure business continuity and minimal disruption during the move process
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience delivering or supporting an office relocation or workplace move project
- Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple moving parts simultaneously
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Comfortable operating in a hands-on environment and solving practical problems
- Ability to work across both operational and technology-related activities
- Experience coordinating vendors, suppliers, and internal business stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proactively identify risks or gaps
- Self-starter mentality with a collaborative and adaptable approach
