Role: Program Manager
Contract Length: 12-months + Extensions
Location: Sydney/WFH Flex
Security Clearance: Baseline Required

An opportunity is available for an experienced Program Manager to join a major Federal Government transformation environment delivering high-profile strategic initiatives across a complex enterprise landscape.

This role will suit a senior delivery professional with proven experience leading large-scale portfolios, programs, or enterprise transformation initiatives within Federal Government or similarly complex environments.

Working closely with senior executives, project managers, and delivery teams, you'll oversee multiple streams of work to ensure delivery outcomes align with strategic objectives, governance requirements, and operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex programs and project portfolios across enterprise delivery environments
• Ensure initiatives align to broader organisational strategy and transformation objectives
• Manage program governance, reporting, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Identify and mitigate program risks, dependencies, and delivery issues
• Drive collaboration across delivery teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders
• Provide leadership and guidance to project managers and cross-functional teams
• Deliver executive-level reporting, communication, and stakeholder engagement activities

About You

• Extensive Program Management experience within Federal Government or large enterprise environments
• Strong background overseeing complex technology, digital, or business transformation programs
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities across multiple delivery streams
• Strong strategic thinking, governance, and portfolio management capability
• Experience managing budgets, resources, and delivery assurance activities
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead in fast-paced environments

Highly Regarded

• Experience within PMO, portfolio management, or enterprise transformation functions
• Exposure to large-scale digital, cloud, ERP, cyber, or data programs
• Previous experience working in secure or highly regulated environments
• Baseline or NV1 security clearance
