Project Description:
You will support a major gaming and entertainment organisation undertaking a large-scale transformation of its enterprise integration landscape. The environment currently consists of a mix of point-to-point REST integrations, bulk data extracts/loads, and multiple ESBs including RabbitMQ and Kafka.
The project focuses on simplifying and modernising integration architecture, improving scalability and reliability, and establishing stronger governance through structured documentation, interface agreements, and reusable integration patterns.
Role
- Design and implement scalable integration architectures aligned to business and technical requirements.
- Define integration strategies, reusable patterns, and interface agreements across enterprise systems.
- Assess and modernise a complex landscape including REST integrations, bulk data loads, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and existing ESBs.
- Establish structured integration documentation and governance standards where limited artefacts exist.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align integration roadmaps with enterprise priorities.
- Ensure integration solutions meet security, scalability, reliability, and performance requirements.
- Lead troubleshooting and remediation of integration issues across multiple systems and environments.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to delivery teams implementing integration solutions.
You will have
- 5+ years' experience in Integration Architecture, design, and enterprise delivery.
- Strong expertise in integration technologies such as MuleSoft, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Boomi, Tibco, or similar.
- Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, and ESB patterns.
- Experience working with cloud, hybrid, and enterprise integration environments.
- Strong documentation capability, particularly around interface agreements and architectural standards.
- Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and strategic thinking capability.
