Talenza have been engaged by an Australian financial services organisation to find a Linux Engineer to work across a greenfield transformation program of work. The successful candidate will be an experienced Linux Engineer, having worked extensively with redhat linux administration in an enterprise environment.

This role requires 3 days per week in the Brisbane CBD office and is only open to candidates currently based in Brisbane with full working rights.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in Linux Systems Administration, with strong expertise supporting and maintaining Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments

• Proven experience administering critical enterprise applications and platforms, including system configuration, patching, vulnerability management, performance monitoring, and operational support

• Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies to streamline system administration and deployment activities

• Experience managing Linux-based infrastructure within AWS environments, including services such as EC2, RDS, and S3

• Demonstrated experience with incident management, root cause analysis, system monitoring, and maintaining high availability of business-critical systems in a regulated enterprise environment

• Willingness to participate in a 24x7 on-call roster, providing operational support and incident response for critical production systems
