About the role

A market leader in telecoms is looking for a specialist engineer with strong experience in mobile voice / voice core to join their integration and maintenance team in Sydney

The role would suit someone with in-depth hands-on skills on mobile voice infrastructure and 4G/5G technologies

Responsibilities:

• Upgrades and testing on software and hardware
• Tier 3 faults and maintenance support
• Act as the subject matter expert on mobile voice infrastructure technologies like IMS, HSS/SDM, 5GSA core, STP, VoNR, Subscriber provisioning
• Provide and implement network optimisation recommendations
• Give coaching and mentoring of less experienced team members
• Define and document design processes

Key Skills:

• Hands on experience in one or more of 4G/5G mobile network technologies, IMS & SDM, VoIP, IP Networking, Cloud Infrastructure
• Skills on Ericsson IMS, SDM and 5GC
• Skills on Nokia MSS and MGW
• Good knowledge of SIP platforms and interworking
• Experience with Oracle STP and Ericsson DRA/DSC
