Role: Senior Change Manager
Day Rate: $1000 + Super
Contract Length: Initial contract until 18 Dec 26 (high chance of extension)
Location: Macquarie Park (3 days onsite)/WFH Flex

Join a major enterprise delivery environment driving uplift across a large and complex project portfolio. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced Change Manager who thrives on building capability, establishing best practice, and embedding mature change frameworks across enterprise programs.

You'll operate across a broad portfolio of IT-focused projects, partnering with Project Managers, delivery teams, and senior stakeholders to improve organisational change maturity and establish scalable governance and delivery standards.

The Role

You'll play a key role in shaping and uplifting the organisation's change capability across a portfolio of approximately 25 projects, with a focus on technology and transformation initiatives.

Initially, the role will be heavily project-focused, supporting delivery teams through assessments, stakeholder engagement, and change planning. Over time, the focus will evolve into broader portfolio leadership, driving organisational change strategy, mentoring capability uplift, and establishing consistent change governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and uplift the Change Management practice across the delivery portfolio
  • Develop governance frameworks, templates, standards, and best practice approaches
  • Conduct change maturity and needs assessments across projects and teams
  • Partner closely with Project Managers and delivery leaders to embed effective OCM practices
  • Lead stakeholder engagement activities across complex business and technology initiatives
  • Coach and mentor Change Managers and junior change practitioners
  • Drive organisational change strategy and portfolio-wide uplift initiatives
  • Support onboarding, capability development, and continuous improvement across the function

About You

  • 3-5+ years' experience operating as a Senior Change Manager within complex enterprise environments
  • Strong background delivering Organisational Change Management across IT and transformation programs
  • Experience establishing governance, frameworks, and scalable change practices
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor project teams and junior change professionals
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability across business and technology teams
  • Comfortable operating in both strategic and hands-on delivery environments
  • Experience uplifting organisational change maturity across portfolios or PMOs highly regarded
