OT Security Lead (12 Month FTC)

• ASX listed enterprise with operations across Australia and New Zealand.
• Large, complex IT and OT environment with critical infrastructure.

An excellent opportunity for an experienced OT Security professional to lead the establishment and uplift of OT security across a large-scale environment.

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the OT security strategy, defining the target operating model, and ensuring secure, practical controls across operational environments. Initially embedded within a transformation program, you'll transition into an operational leadership role, owning OT security outcomes end-to-end.

This role will suit someone who thrives in low‑maturity environments, is comfortable working hands-on, and can balance security requirements with real-world operational demands.

• 8-12+ years' experience in OT environments (e.g. logistics, manufacturing, industrial).
• Proven experience leading or owning OT security outcomes or functions.
• Strong understanding of OT systems (PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, WMS, industrial networks).
• Experience contributing to OT security strategy, architecture, or operating models.
• Knowledge of OT security frameworks (e.g. IEC 62443) and cyber risk management.
• Background working in environments with high vendor reliance and limited maturity.

• Own OT security governance, risk posture and control framework across operational sites.
• Provide SME input into OT strategy, architecture and target operating model design.
• Oversee secure remote access solutions across OT platforms and vendor ecosystems.
• Act as escalation point for OT security incidents, risks and operational issues.
• Drive continuous improvement of OT security capability and maturity.
