About the role

A leading banking company are looking to recruit a senior observability engineer to support their enterprise-grade observability platform within their network function.

The role would suit someone with in-depth hands-on skills using the Elastic stack (ELK)

Responsibilities:

• Work on a large-scale migration project
• Integrating logs, metrics, traces, and synthetics into a unified observability pipeline
• Maintaining the health of the observability system and supporting incident response
• Developing Kibana dashboards, visualisations and alerting mechanisms
• Implementing machine learning models

Key Skills:

• Hands-on administration skills with the Elastic Stack (ELK)
• Knowledge of Observability concepts like logs, metrics, traces, SLIs/SLO
• Experience with data ingestion pipelines
• Some technical knowledge of networks and linux
