Director - Planning, Enablement and Execution - Core Networks - Telco

About the role

A senior leadership opportunity within a large-scale telecommunications environment, focused on driving planning, enablement and execution across Core Networks.

Working closely with executive stakeholders, this role will help translate strategic priorities into coordinated delivery outcomes across a complex and business-critical network function. You'll lead planning and execution activities across major programs and investments, improving alignment, governance, financial oversight and delivery confidence across the organisation.

The role is suited to a commercially minded telecom leader with experience across transformation, strategic delivery or consulting within carrier or network-centric environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Core Networks strategy planning, reviews and transformation progress
• Translate strategic priorities into executable business plans, milestones and outcomes
• Oversee planning and management of project tenders
• Oversight on CAPEX and OPEX investment for Core Networks
• Create an effective relationship between Core Networks and corporate functions
• Coordination of the teams critical initiatives

Key Skills:

• Proven leadership experience across transformation, operations, delivery or business management
• Strong understanding of Core Network technologies.
• Experience managing vendors, commercial contracts, procurement activities and large-scale investment programs.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen across OPEX and CAPEX environments.
• Ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across technical, operational and executive teams.
• Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to bring structure and clarity to complex environments.
