About the role
This role is focused predominantly on uplifting the privacy standards, governance and frameworks across a global business. In place is an existing and semi-mature framework, you will work closely with an analyst and your direct manager to implement and embed the framework. As a business they are working towards "Privacy by Design" and this role would be pivotal in them embedding that into the business, your work will involve working across DPIA's and PIA's with a heavy focus on stakeholder engagement skills.

Locally they are working towards meeting GDPR standards as this is viewed as the gold standard with local standards aligning with this, after the initial uplift you have the option to be involved with their AI privacy framework and uplift.

Duties

• Uplift privacy maturity across the business
• Work hands-on with DPIA's, PIA's and to a lesser extend DSAR's
• Business stakeholder engagement up to senior level
• Embed privacy first and privacy by design principals

Skills and experience

• Previous experience in a privacy focused role - could be in house or consulting
• Ideally you have around 2-4 years experience, though there can be some flex on this
• Direct experience and knowledge of global privacy standards - GDPR, APP, CCPA, EU AI Act
• Ability to work independently in a nimble function
• Collaborative personality type to work with a global team
• Industry certifications are highly regarded.
