We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join a leading Financial Services organisation in Queensland on an initial 6-month contract. This role will support a major Data Re-platform initiative, working closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and project teams to analyse, document, and validate data requirements throughout the migration and transformation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyse, and document business and data requirements.
• Perform data profiling, mapping, and lineage analysis across legacy and target platforms.
• Support data migration, reconciliation, and validation activities.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data quality rules and reporting requirements.
• Produce clear documentation including data dictionaries, mapping specifications, and process flows.
• Assist with testing, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement throughout project delivery.

Required Experience:

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst on large-scale data migration or re-platform projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
• Experience working within the Financial Services sector.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience working with enterprise data warehouses, cloud data platforms, or modern analytics environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into data solutions and technical specifications.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
