We're partnering with a leading financial services organisation on a major security uplift program and are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join the team on an initial 6-month contract.

This is a hands-on infrastructure role, supporting a large-scale server estate across Windows and Linux environments. You'll play a key part in improving the organisation's security posture through operating system patching, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure hardening.

Working alongside infrastructure and cyber security teams, you'll be responsible for maintaining the health, stability, and security of critical enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Administering Windows and Linux server environments.
• Performing operating system patching and lifecycle management.
• Managing enterprise patching tools such as Red Hat Satellite, Ivanti, and similar technologies.
• Supporting vulnerability remediation and security uplift initiatives.
• Troubleshooting infrastructure issues and providing operational support.
• Working closely with security and platform teams to maintain compliance and minimise risk.
• Contributing to process improvements and automation opportunities where appropriate.

We're looking for an experienced infrastructure professional who has worked within large, complex enterprise environments.

You'll ideally have:

• Strong Windows and Linux systems administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise patch management solutions, including Red Hat Satellite, Ivanti, SCCM/MECM, WSUS, or similar.
• Exposure to security remediation and vulnerability management programs.
• Experience supporting enterprise server environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
• Previous experience in financial services or other regulated industries is advantageous.
