Systems Administrator

We're partnering with one of Australia's fastest-growing AI and digital infrastructure businesses as they continue to invest in their Corporate IT capability.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join a high-performing technology team and work across a modern hybrid environment supporting users and infrastructure across Australia and Singapore.

Reporting directly to the CTO, you'll be one of three senior Systems Administrators responsible for keeping the lights on while continuously improving the stability, security, and efficiency of the corporate technology environment.

If you enjoy variety, ownership, and working across both Windows and Linux infrastructure without being pigeonholed into a single technology stack, this could be an excellent fit.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the corporate IT environment, including:

• Administering Windows and Linux servers across hybrid infrastructure.
• Managing Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Hybrid Active Directory environments.
• Supporting virtualisation platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, and Proxmox.
• Managing user lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, device provisioning, and access management.
• Supporting endpoint management and operational security practices across the business.
• Maintaining backup and recovery processes using Veeam, including restore testing.
• Providing senior-level support and incident management through Jira Service Management.
• Maintaining IT asset registers, software licensing, and vendor relationships.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, SOPs, and operational standards.
• Collaborating with infrastructure, platform, cloud, and engineering teams on ongoing improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

You'll likely bring:

• 5+ years' experience in Systems Administration within a corporate or multi-site environment.
• Strong hands-on experience across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Hybrid Active Directory.
• Solid Windows and Linux administration skills.
• Experience supporting virtualised infrastructure such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox.
• Exposure to backup and disaster recovery solutions, ideally Veeam.
• Experience working within ITSM environments and managing operational incidents.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
