Description
Talenza have been engaged by an Australian ASX listed organisation to find an Network Manager to lead a high performing network engineering team. The organisation has a commonly used Network tech stack with Cisco Products (Meraki & ISE) and Palo Alto firewalls.
This role requires 3 days per week in the Brisbane office and is only open to candidates currently based in Brisbane with full working rights.

Key Requirements
- Proven experience leading and developing a team of Network Engineers within a large, complex enterprise environment, with responsibility for team performance, workload management, stakeholder engagement, and service delivery outcomes.
- Strong understanding of enterprise network technologies, including routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, WAN/LAN architectures, and network operations, with the ability to provide technical leadership and strategic direction without requiring day-to-day hands-on engineering.
- Demonstrated knowledge of modern Cisco networking solutions, including Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Cisco Meraki, and broader Cisco enterprise networking platforms, enabling effective governance of network architecture, standards, and roadmaps.
- Solid understanding of network security principles, including network segmentation, zero trust concepts, identity and access management, secure remote access, and security controls across enterprise network environments.
- Experience overseeing and supporting network security technologies, including next-generation firewalls such as Palo Alto Networks, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cyber security and infrastructure teams on risk management and security initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management, vendor management, and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences, influence decision-making, and align network services with business objectives.
- Knowledge of regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements within financial services environments, including exposure to APRA standards and prudential requirements, would be highly regarded but is not essential.
