Role: Enterprise Architect
Contract Length: 12-months
Location: Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, or Hobart

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join a major enterprise transformation program responsible for modernising critical business capabilities and legacy technology platforms.

This role is ideal for a senior architect who enjoys operating across business, application, data and technology domains while partnering closely with delivery teams, stakeholders and governance bodies to drive transformational outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop enterprise architecture models, solution concepts, strategic roadmaps, blueprints and implementation strategies.
• Provide architectural guidance and assurance across complex business and technology transformation initiatives.
• Partner with service designers, business analysts, cyber security specialists, architects and delivery teams to shape future-state solutions.
• Translate business outcomes into scalable, secure and sustainable technology architectures.
• Review and assure application, data and technology architecture artefacts across multiple workstreams.
• Produce architecture documentation including solution assurance reports, options papers, statements of requirement and enterprise architecture artefacts.
• Present architecture recommendations to governance forums, architecture boards and senior stakeholders.
• Support procurement activities, vendor engagement and technical evaluations where required.
• Drive alignment with enterprise architecture principles, standards, guardrails and strategic ICT objectives.

About You

• 10+ years' experience working in ICT architecture roles.
• Minimum 5 years' experience operating as an Enterprise Architect on enterprise-wide transformation programs.
• Proven experience delivering architecture artefacts including transformation roadmaps, enterprise solution architectures, integration maps and solution blueprints.
• Strong experience supporting business and technology transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience designing cloud-first architecture strategies and modernisation roadmaps.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking capability with the ability to navigate ambiguity and risk.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Expert knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Microsoft Well-Architected Framework and/or DoDAF.

Highly Regarded

• Federal Government transformation experience.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in ICT or a related discipline.
• Professional architecture certifications across enterprise, business, application, data or technology domains.
• Cloud architecture certifications across major cloud platforms.
• Experience with ArchiMate, BPMN, UML, Azure DevOps and iServer.
