Senior IT Project Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Engineer to join a leading Managed Services Provider. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, leading the delivery of strategic IT initiatives and guiding organisations through complex technology transformations.
You will work closely with client stakeholders and internal delivery teams to design, deliver, and optimise modern IT solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects across client environments, providing strategic oversight from discovery and design through to implementation and successful handover.
• Act as a key client-facing consultant, advising stakeholders on technology solutions aligned to their business goals.
• Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and translate business needs into scalable, outcomes-focused solutions.
• Drive project delivery within structured project management frameworks and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with internal service delivery and support teams to ensure seamless transition of client solutions into BAU operations.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership across multiple concurrent client engagements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and stakeholder communication.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and technical stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
• Ensure all client project documentation, governance artifacts, and change records are accurate and up to date.
• Navigate and resolve delivery challenges across client environments while maintaining a high level of confidence and satisfaction.
• Champion high standards across security, quality, and customer experience in all client engagements.
• Continuously develop expertise in emerging technologies and provide thought leadership.

• 5+ years' experience delivering complex IT projects within client-facing consulting, professional services, or MSP environments.
• Strong ability to engage stakeholders, influence decision-making, and translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
• Broad technical background across IT infrastructure, cloud, and modern workplace technologies.

Key technical experience includes:

• 
  Microsoft 365 ecosystem including Intune, SharePoint, Exchange, and Purview.
• 
  Email and tenant migrations across M365, Google Workspace, Exchange On-Premises, and Azure.
• 
  Modern workplace solutions including Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, and Teams Calling.
• 
  Identity and access management, including Entra ID, Conditional Access, and role-based access control.
• 
  Security and governance solutions such as Defender Application Control, Identity Governance, and Global Secure Access.
• 
  Azure and on-premises infrastructure design and delivery (compute, storage, networking, Active Directory).
• 
  Backup and recovery solutions, business continuity, and resilience planning.
• 
  OS hardening, security posture assessments, and remediation planning.
• 
  Familiarity with PKI and certificate management.
• 
  Microsoft certifications required.
