Description

Talenza have been engaged by an Australian ASX listed company to find a Slack Administrator to work across a slack governance project. The successful candidate will be experienced in administering slack plugins and general administration across user access and troubleshooting.

This role requires 3 days per week in the Brisbane office and is only open to candidates currently based in Brisbane with full working rights.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience administering Slack Enterprise Grid or Slack Enterprise environments, including workspace administration, user provisioning, permissions management and day-to-day platform support.

  • Experience managing Slack application integrations, troubleshooting integration issues, and working with internal application owners to support business-critical workflows across multiple enterprise systems.

  • Experience reviewing, rationalising and governing Slack app/plugin usage, including reducing the number of whitelisted applications while maintaining business requirements and security compliance.

  • Strong understanding of identity and access management, including SSO, user lifecycle management, role-based access, and integration with enterprise identity platforms.

  • Broad systems administration background across Windows, Linux or cloud environments, with experience supporting enterprise applications beyond Slack and the ability to troubleshoot across multiple technology layers.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with security, infrastructure, application and business teams to deliver Slack administration, governance and platform improvements.
