We're partnering with one of Australia's most recognised retail brands on a large-scale transformation program following the acquisition and integration of more than 500 retail locations nationally.
As part of this program, we're seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of a high-volume store deployment rollout across a national retail network.
This is not a traditional technology project management role.
We're looking for someone who has lived and breathed large-scale retail deployments, understands the realities of operating in live trading environments, and can confidently lead the rollout of solutions across hundreds of sites with minimal disruption to customers and operations.
The Opportunity
You'll play a critical role in delivering business-enabling technology that supports store conversions, branding changes, customer offers and operational transformation across a network of approximately 550 locations.
The program will move from planning and pilot phases into large-scale deployment, with rollout volumes expected to ramp significantly throughout 2027.
This role requires someone who can build repeatable processes, manage multiple concurrent deployments, coordinate diverse stakeholder groups and confidently make operational decisions in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of a national store deployment program
- Develop and refine deployment playbooks, readiness plans and rollout processes
- Coordinate technology, business, operations and vendor stakeholders
- Manage site readiness activities and deployment schedules
- Support deployment and cutover activities across multiple sites
- Drive continuous improvement and rollout optimisation throughout the program
- Manage risks, issues and escalation pathways
- Ensure smooth transition into operational support following deployment
- Provide reporting and updates to senior program stakeholders
About You
You are an experienced deployment or rollout professional who has successfully delivered large-scale multi-site programs in retail or similar customer-facing environments.
You'll bring:
- Proven experience leading large-scale retail or store deployment programs
- Experience delivering multi-site rollouts across geographically dispersed locations
- Strong vendor and third-party management skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication capability
- Experience managing site readiness, cutovers and operational transitions
- The ability to make practical decisions under pressure in live operational environments
- A highly structured and process-driven approach to delivery
