A well regarded service provider are looking to hire an Adelaide based senior network engineer to support network and security projects with a banking client of theirs

The role works off a 12 month extendable contract

Responsibilities:

• Technical implementation of network and security projects
• Identify and remediate poorly maintained legacy systems
• Act as an SME across all of network infrastructure, supporting junior engineers
• Ensure change initiatives are tested, compliant and well executed
• Develop runbooks, network diagrams and documentation for deployments

Key Skills:

• Experience in IP networking and protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, DNS
• Strong Cisco product knowledge - Routers, Switches, ISE, Prime, ThousandEyes, Meraki, etc
• Understanding of IT Security
• CCNP level certification is nice to have
