I'm currently working with a highly regarded enterprise organisation looking to engage a Senior Systems Administrator for an exciting infrastructure project focused on building and deploying critical Windows server environments.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll be responsible for designing, building, hardening and deploying Active Directory infrastructure into a large enterprise environment. You'll work closely with infrastructure and project teams to deliver production-ready server platforms built to enterprise standards.

You'll play a key role across the full server lifecycle including:

• Designing and building new Active Directory server environments
• Configuring and promoting Windows servers into enterprise domains
• Building physical servers to standard operating environment (SOE) specifications
• Implementing server hardening using Group Policy and security best practices
• Performing patching, firmware updates and ongoing system maintenance
• Supporting testing, validation, Operational Readiness (ORE) activities and production go-live
• Following established build documentation and standard operating procedures
• Troubleshooting, performance tuning and supporting enterprise server infrastructure

We're keen to speak with Senior Systems Administrators who have strong experience across:

• Windows Server administration in enterprise environments
• Active Directory design, build and configuration (AD Join, Domain Promote, DNS and Domain Services)
• VMware administration and virtual infrastructure
• Linux systems administration (working knowledge)
• Physical server deployment and configuration
• Server hardening including Group Policy (GPO) and off-domain environments
• Windows patching, firmware management and server lifecycle maintenance
• System monitoring, troubleshooting and performance optimisation

Nice to have

• Experience delivering virtual server migrations

• Produce detailed Active Directory server designs
• Build and configure enterprise AD servers to hardened SOE standards
• Promote servers into the production domain
• Implement security hardening through GPO and enterprise standards
• Complete testing, Operational Readiness (ORE) and support successful production deployment
