We're partnering with a leading Australian Telco to recruit a Senior Business Analyst to join a high-performing Business Analysis practice. Working within a centralised BA capability, you'll be deployed across a range of strategic initiatives, with an initial focus on Digital delivery before having the opportunity to support broader enterprise programs.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across both squad-based Agile delivery and end-to-end program environments, and can confidently adapt their approach to suit the initiative.

The Opportunity

You'll play a key role in shaping business and customer outcomes by partnering with stakeholders across technology and the business to define requirements, improve processes and support the successful delivery of complex change initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading business analysis activities from discovery through to solution implementation and acceptance.
Facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders to define business needs and outcomes.
Producing high-quality BA artefacts including User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, BRS, DBRS, BPMN process maps and Requirements Traceability Matrices.
Working closely with Product Owners, UX Designers, Solution Architects, Developers and business SMEs to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
Supporting delivery across Agile, Waterfall and hybrid methodologies while contributing to best practice within the Business Analysis community.

About You

You'll be an experienced Senior Business Analyst who can operate independently and build credibility quickly with both business and technical stakeholders.

You'll bring:

Extensive Business Analysis experience across both Digital (Agile) and Enterprise (Waterfall or hybrid) delivery environments.
Strong end-to-end requirements management experience from discovery through to implementation.
Proven experience producing both Agile and traditional BA documentation.
Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and communication skills.
Hands-on experience using JIRA and Confluence, with BPMN modelling highly regarded.
The ability to work across multiple delivery styles and adapt to changing business priorities.
Industry certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-ACP, CSM or CSPO are advantageous.

Telco industry experience will be highly regarded. Candidates who have worked within large, complex telecommunications or similarly customer-focused enterprise environments will be well positioned for success.
