Description
We are seeking a Change Analyst for a client in Government to support portfolio-level change delivery across multiple programs and initiatives. The role provides coordination, analysis and communication support to improve end-to-end visibility of change impacts, reduce duplication of effort, and enable a more consistent experience for stakeholders across the organisation. This position works within an established change team and supports program and project teams.
Key responsibilities
- Support portfolio and program change activities by coordinating and contributing to key change deliverables including stakeholder mapping, impact assessments, communication plans, training plans, and business readiness activities.
- Produce and maintain consolidated impact assessments that provide holistic visibility across initiatives.
- Engage with project and program team members to collect inputs, track actions, and ensure change information is current and consistent across workstreams.
- Prepare clear, professional PowerPoint presentations and change materials (briefings, updates, meeting packs, communications content) aligned to project/program needs.
- Coordinate governance and working sessions, including meeting scheduling, agendas, minutes, actions, and general administration to keep change activity moving.
- Support training and readiness activities, including coordinating inputs and assisting with rollout materials.
- Contribute to UAT support activities where required (e.g., coordinating test planning inputs, tracking progress/issues, and reporting outcomes).
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across business and technology teams, promoting a coordinated and efficient approach to change delivery.
Essential requirements for the ideal Candidate
- Demonstrated experience as a Change Analyst / Change Coordinator supporting ICT / technology-enabled change in a project or program environment, ideally with experience in the Government/Energy/Utilities/Resources sector.
- Experience contributing to change artefacts and multiple deliverables, such as impact assessments, stakeholder mapping, communication and training materials, and readiness assessments.
- Strong ability to work with stakeholders to gather information and coordinate outcomes, with the confidence to communicate clearly and effectively across different groups and levels.
- Advanced capability in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good understanding of project and program delivery environments and the ability to manage competing priorities across concurrent initiatives.
- Practical exposure to contemporary change management approaches/methodologies
