Data Engineer - Investments

Job Overview:
Join our financial client as a Data Engineer specialising in Investments. This role involves developing and maintaining data pipelines and products that enable advanced investment analytics, supporting the management of fixed income, defensive assets, and portfolio insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver high-quality data solutions for investment teams.
• Build resilient data pipelines in Snowflake, Python, and related tools.
• Collaborate with investment stakeholders to optimise data-driven decision-making.
• Support investment data domains including IBOR, analytics, and performance books.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across platforms.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Technology, or similar field.
• Proven experience with investment data products and pipelines.
• Proficiency in Snowflake, DBT, Erwin Data Modeller, Python.
• Strong understanding of investment domain data including market data and asset classes.
• Experience working within CI/CD environments and supporting Agile development.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of financial modelling and industry analysis.
• Mentoring or leadership experience in data teams.
• Familiarity with middleware or enterprise data management solutions.
