Role: Senior Storage Engineer (NetApp)
Day Rate: $675 incl. Super
Contract Length: 12-months
Location: Ultimo/WFH Flex (2 days min. on site)

We're partnering with one of Australia's most recognised organisations to secure an experienced Senior Storage Engineer to join a high-performing Enterprise Technology team responsible for critical storage infrastructure supporting nationwide services.

This is a hands-on technical role suited to an engineer who enjoys designing, maintaining and optimising enterprise storage platforms while providing expert guidance on complex infrastructure environments.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, administer and support enterprise storage infrastructure across SAN, NAS and storage arrays.
• Manage and optimise NetApp storage environments including replication, backup and disaster recovery technologies.
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support and troubleshoot complex storage issues.
• Lead technical projects, upgrades and platform improvements.
• Develop automation and operational efficiencies using scripting tools.
• Provide technical leadership, documentation and mentoring within the storage team.
• Work closely with infrastructure and platform teams to deliver highly available enterprise storage services.

About You

We're looking for someone with strong hands-on experience across:

• NetApp FAS/AFF running ONTAP 9
• SnapMirror, SnapVault and SnapCenter
• Enterprise SAN/NAS environments
• Storage administration, replication and data protection
• Ansible, PowerShell and/or Unix Shell scripting
• Linux and/or Windows Server environments

Highly Desirable:

• NetApp StorageGRID
• Hitachi Vantara storage platforms
• Cisco or Brocade Fibre Channel switches
• VMware vSphere and/or Hyper-V
• AWS S3
• IBM Storage Protect and Tape Libraries
• ITIL environments
