Description
Business Architect (Melbourne)
Talenza is partnering with a well-established organisation to appoint a Business Process Architect to support a major uplift across B2B sales and customer-facing operations. This is a key role focused on process excellence, operating model design, and embedding best-practice ways of working.
You'll work with senior stakeholders across business and technology to review current-state processes, identify gaps, and design a target operating model that supports scalable, measurable performance-particularly across B2B sales motions.
- Lead current-state discovery across business processes (workshops, interviews, process mapping).
- Design and document target-state processes aligned to strategic outcomes and customer journeys.
- Review, design, and support implementation of the operating model (process, roles, governance, decision rights, ways of working).
- Bring a clear view of best-practice process design in a B2B sales environment (e.g., lead-to-order, quote-to-cash, service/fulfilment handoffs, sales operations).
- Define process standards, controls, measures/KPIs and continuous improvement mechanisms.
- Partner with change, product, delivery and technology teams to ensure process designs are practical, adopted and measurable.
- Proven experience as a Business Architect / Senior Process Analyst / Operating Model specialist in complex environments.
- Strong capability in process architecture, operating model design, and stakeholder facilitation.
- Demonstrated exposure to B2B sales process landscapes (process, governance, tooling alignment).
- Telco or Utilities experience is highly desirable (or similarly regulated / large-scale customer operations).
- Strong documentation skills (process maps, artefacts, standards) and ability to translate ambiguity into structured outcomes.
