Description

A client in financial services is delivering a Technology Enablement program, enabling platform upgrades and integration testing without disrupting BAU/production while uplifting capability and retiring legacy infrastructure. The Change Manager will drive adoption through a pragmatic, repeatable change approach, maintaining a single view of milestones, releases, outages/change freezes and business readiness across concurrent initiatives.

This will be on an initial 6 months contract, based in Brisbane on a flexible, hybrid working week.

  • Define and communicate the business value, outcomes, benefits and roadmap of Technology Enablement, including what will be delivered and how progress will be measured.
  • Develop and deliver stakeholder engagement and education to support adoption of new environments and future ways of working across technology and delivery teams.
  • Identify impacts to roles and responsibilities, and create practical change strategies, communications, and training to embed accountability and sustained adoption.
  • Support the rollout and embedding of the new non-production environment support model, including RACI, service engagement pathways, and daily triage ways of working.
  • Define and embed current-to-future operating rhythms, behaviours and standards, working across internal teams and external delivery partners as required.
  • Support establishment of a non-production Environment & Deployment Management (EDM) capability, including process/ownership realignment (e.g., environment bookings, deployment processes, governance, prioritisation and scheduling).
  • Contribute to capability uplift planning (gap analysis, uplift strategy, knowledge transfer, and roadmap to internal ownership).
  • Maintain a consolidated view of technology delivery milestones, releases, outages and change freezes, and coordinate business readiness activity across impacted initiatives.

  • Strong experience as a Change Manager within Financial Services to lead delivery of change across complex, multi-stream technology programs.
  • Work effectively in a complex stakeholder environment, collaborating closely with internal technology and delivery teams and external partners to align change activity to delivery milestones and support successful adoption.
  • Ability to operate in agile / fast-changing priorities, adjusting plans while maintaining stakeholder confidence.
  • Strong capability to translate technical change into business language.
  • Experience establishing scaled/agile change delivery structures, repeatable toolkits and pragmatic governance.
  • Strong stakeholder management across technology, delivery and business, including readiness for outages/change freezes.
  • Experience embedding operating models, governance structures and new ways of working.
  • Ability to uplift change capability in teams so change is owned, adopted and sustained.
