Description

We are supporting a large enterprise customer who are deliverying a wide ranging cyber programme, across a large and complex regulated environment.

As part of this work, they are actively seeking to hire a Security Architect to bridge the gap between their core architecture practice and core cyber programme.

Key duties include:

  • Design and contribute to the development of secure technology solutions, considering security strategy, enterprise planning and deployments across a range of complex systems and business applications with a significant focus on wide ranging security uplift
  • Provide technical and architectural support to ensure solutions align and comply with security architectural directions, standards and guidelines
  • Maintain knowledge of key security domains, platforms and technology components, including new and emerging threats and controls.
  • Document current and target state security architecture to aid the transition to target state for a specific domain, platform, or technical component.
  • Promote re-usability. Document security patterns and reference architectures for re-use across solutions.
  • Provide advice to other Technology teams, including Domains/Platforms and projects, regarding the application and operation of technical security controls, implementation approaches, and non-functional and operational security requirements.
  • Understand client requirements, identify, evaluate and recommend secure solution and platform options.
  • Incorporate specific environment, performance, security and other non-functional requirements into designs, with security as the primary lens.
  • Support wider team in performing security and risk assessments, including threat modelling, across projects and existing platforms.
  • Suppoer and represent security design activities undertaken by third-party and vendor consultants.
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of the Cyber Security Architectural Practice. Define and improve work practices, templates and standards to support the broader adoption of quality security architecture practices. Provide mentoring and coaching.
