Program Manager - Data Migration

Talenza has been engaged to appoint a Program Manager - Data Migration to join a major customer and technology transformation program. This role will lead the end-to-end migration of customer data from legacy CRM and billing platforms into a new enterprise environment, ensuring data is accurately mapped, transformed, validated and successfully migrated.

This is a critical leadership role within the program, requiring a blend of data migration expertise, stakeholder management and delivery capability to drive migration outcomes across multiple business and technology workstreams.

The Opportunity

As the Program Manager - Data Migration, you will be responsible for the strategy, governance and delivery of a complex customer data migration. The primary migration pathway will involve transitioning data between two CRM and billing platforms, representing the majority of migration activity, with additional integration points across supporting systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Defining current-state and future-state data structures and migration requirements.
• Leading field-by-field data mapping and transformation activities.
• Determining migration scope, data retention and future-state requirements.
• Designing and governing migration pipelines, schemas and processes.
• Managing migration planning, execution, reporting and governance.
• Driving historical data analysis and stakeholder requirements gathering.
• Overseeing migration build, testing, dry runs and production cutovers.
• Leading data reconciliation, validation and issue resolution activities.
• Providing dashboard reporting and migration progress tracking.
• Ensuring successful delivery of migration milestones and business outcomes.

About You

You are an experienced migration leader with a proven track record delivering complex enterprise data migration programs.

You will bring:

• Extensive experience leading large-scale data migration initiatives.
• Strong experience across CRM and billing platform migrations.
• Expertise in data mapping, transformation, reconciliation and migration governance.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder groups across business and technology.
• Strong understanding of migration tooling, testing strategies and cutover planning.
• Experience delivering within large transformation programs.
• A pragmatic, hands-on approach to problem solving and delivery.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
