Program Manager - Data Quality & Remediation

12 Month Fixed-Term Contract | $200K Package | Melbourne CBD

Talenza has been engaged to appoint a Program Manager - Data Quality & Remediation to play a critical role within a large-scale customer and technology transformation program.

Working as part of a major platform migration initiative, you will lead the end-to-end data quality and remediation stream, ensuring customer data is accurate, complete and migration-ready. This is a highly visible role requiring a blend of technical data expertise, strong stakeholder engagement capability and program delivery experience.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Program Leadership team, you will be responsible for establishing and driving the data quality strategy, governance framework and remediation activities required to support key migration milestones.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading data quality assessment, remediation and governance activities across customer data domains.
• Developing and implementing data quality rules, controls and monitoring frameworks.
• Driving SQL-based data analysis to identify data issues, trends and remediation priorities.
• Owning data quality tools, reporting and governance processes.
• Leading customer data consolidation and rationalisation activities.
• Partnering with delivery, business and technology teams to resolve data quality issues.
• Ensuring remediation outcomes are delivered in line with program and migration timelines.
• Providing reporting and updates to program governance forums and senior stakeholders.

About You

You are a program delivery professioanl with domain experience in data who combines technical capability with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across large, complex environments.

You will bring:

• Deep experience in Data Quality, Data Governance and Data Remediation.
• Proven success delivering data-focused outcomes within complex transformation or migration programs.
• Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities.
• Experience establishing data quality frameworks, controls and governance processes.
• A pragmatic, delivery-oriented approach with a focus on outcomes rather than theory.
• The ability to operate effectively across business, technology and program teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within customer-centric industries such as banking, utilities or energy will be highly regarded.
