Talenza has been exclusively engaged by a leading Financial Services organisation to appoint an experienced Delivery Lead to drive delivery of a strategic customer portal as part of a broader digital transformation.

The programme is entering a critical phase - with core build underway, the focus now turns to execution rigour, stakeholder alignment and delivering a high-quality, customer-facing platform into production.

This is a highly visible, business-critical initiative.

The Opportunity

You will lead a cross-functional software team of 10+ (Engineers, BA, QA, UX) delivering a modern customer portal designed to enhance digital engagement, streamline customer interactions and improve operational efficiency.

Operating within a regulated Financial Services environment, you will bring structure, clarity and momentum to delivery while balancing technical execution with commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a software delivery team of 10+
• Drive sprint cadence, release planning and delivery governance
• Partner with Product, Technology and Business stakeholders to ensure alignment
• Manage RAID, interdependencies and delivery risk
• Oversee integration with core systems and backend platforms
• Provide structured reporting to senior leadership and steering forums
• Ensure business readiness and controlled production deployment

Key Experience Required

• Proven experience leading software teams in complex environments
• Delivery of customer-facing digital platforms or portals
• Strong Agile delivery background (Scrum / SAFe / hybrid models)
• Experience within Financial Services or other regulated industries
• Strong governance, risk and stakeholder management capability
• Demonstrated ability to stabilise and land delivery during critical programme phases
