Senior Network Engineer - Banking - 6 Month Contract - Hybrid

A well-regarded Australian brand is looking to hire a Senior Network Engineer to join their team on a 6 month initial contract

The role would suit someone with experience in the design, implementation and support of enterprise network infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and maintain network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and WiFi infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network performance, connectivity, and security issues.
• Perform network migrations, and implementation activities.
• Maintain network documentation and technical standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and vendors to deliver network solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support during project delivery.

Key Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with switching, routing, firewall, and wireless technologies.
• Sound knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching, VLANs, VPNs, and network security.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba) are desirable.
• White card preferred
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and data centres (DCs) as required.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
