Talenza have been engaged by an Australian financial services organisation to find an Endpoint Engineer to work across a security uplift project. The successful candidate will be an experienced, hands-on Endpoint enginner with extensive experience with Defender, Powershell, automated patching and Citrix desktops.

This role requires 3 days per week in the Brisbane CBD office and is only open to candidates currently based in Brisbane with full working rights.

Key Requirements

• Strong hands-on senior endpoint engineering experience across large enterprise Windows environments, including Windows 11 laptops, physical desktops and Citrix virtual desktops.

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopatch, SCCM/MECM, Active Directory and Group Policy for endpoint management and servicing.

• Proven experience managing Windows OS, third-party application, driver, firmware and BIOS patching.

• Experience analysing endpoint vulnerabilities and identifying technical, configuration and deployment blockers preventing successful remediation.

• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience, including Intune remediation scripts to reduce manual effort and improve remediation consistency.

• Experience with third-party application packaging and patching using tools such as Patch My PC, including automation and optimisation of manual patching processes.

• Experience with enterprise vulnerability management and remediation, using vulnerability reporting to prioritise remediation and measure improvements.

• Experience implementing and maintaining Microsoft security baselines, endpoint compliance and security controls aligned with the ACSC Essential Eight and Microsoft Defender.
