$280k - $300k package inclusive of super + bonus
Talenza has been retained to appoint an Associate Director, Enterprise Transformation.
for a large Australian organisation undertaking a significant evolution of its enterprise operating model and transformation capability.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping how a complex organisation delivers strategy, executes change, and drives business outcomes at scale.
You will lead a multidisciplinary function responsible for enhancing enterprise delivery capability, ways of working and transformation performance. This is a highly influential role operating across executive stakeholders and delivery teams to improve the organisation's ability to deliver transformation.
This is not a traditional program delivery role.
The organisation has already established strong foundations and is now entering the next phase of transformation maturity. This role will be instrumental in evolving operating models and embedding modern delivery practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team focused on strengthening organisational capability, improving execution outcomes and supporting enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
- Partner with senior leaders to identify opportunities to improve how work is prioritised, governed and delivered across the organisation.
- Drive initiatives that enhance organisational effectiveness by connecting strategic objectives with practical delivery outcomes.
- Influence the ongoing evolution of business structures, team operating models and enterprise ways of working to support long-term organisational goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders navigating change, helping build capability, alignment and confidence during periods of transformation.
- Uplift transformation capability and maturity across the organisation
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability.
You
We are seeking candidates with lived transformation experienced, someone who brings a combination of strategic thinking, enterprise influence and hands-on execution experience.
Key Selection Criteria
Agile & Operating Model Transformation
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale agile or operating model transformations within complex organisations.
- Able to articulate lessons learned, challenges navigated and outcomes achieved over multi-year transformation journeys.
Enterprise Influence & Stakeholder Management
- Highly developed emotional intelligence with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels.
- Comfortable challenging respectfully while maintaining strong working relationships.
Transformation & Delivery Leadership
- Strong background in enterprise delivery, transformation, technology or business change.
- Experience operating close to delivery teams while maintaining a strategic enterprise perspective.
Organisation Design & Enterprise Change
- Experience supporting organisational change, operating model evolution and business transformation initiatives within complex environments.
Systems Thinker
- Able to connect strategy, governance, delivery, people and operating models into a cohesive transformation system.
- Brings an integrative mindset focused on improving overall organisational performance rather than optimising individual functions.
