Talenza has been retained to appoint a Senior Manager, AI Adoption & Delivery Optimisation for a large Australian organisation undertaking a significant investment in AI adoption, organisational capability and transformation effectiveness.
This is a rare opportunity to help shape how AI is embedded across a complex enterprise, moving beyond experimentation to drive meaningful business outcomes at scale.
Reporting into a senior transformation leadership team, you will work across business and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can improve productivity, optimise processes and enhance organisational performance. You will play a key role in accelerating adoption, building capability and helping teams realise practical value from emerging AI technologies.
This is not a traditional technology delivery role, nor is it a pure data science or engineering position.
We are seeking someone who understands both transformation and business change, and can bridge the gap between emerging technology and practical business outcomes.
The organisation has already established momentum in this space and is looking for an experienced leader to help drive the next phase of its AI journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI to improve productivity, efficiency and business outcomes across a range of functions.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business challenges into practical AI-enabled solutions.
- Drive adoption and effective utilisation of enterprise AI tools and capabilities across teams.
- Build organisational capability through education, coaching and advocacy.
- Develop and prioritise a pipeline of AI initiatives aligned to business objectives and transformation priorities.
- Champion continuous improvement and process optimisation through innovative applications of AI.
- Work across business and technology teams to embed sustainable and scalable AI-enabled ways of working.
You
We are seeking candidates with a combination of transformation experience, commercial acumen and a genuine passion for helping organisations unlock value through AI.
The successful candidate will be equally comfortable discussing business challenges, influencing stakeholders and identifying practical opportunities to improve how work gets done.
Key Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated experience helping organisations adopt new technologies, automation capabilities or AI-enabled ways of working.
- Able to identify practical use cases and communicate business value in a clear and compelling way.
- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to build credibility across business and technology stakeholders.
- Comfortable challenging established approaches and introducing new ways of thinking.
- Experience identifying opportunities to simplify processes, remove inefficiencies and improve organisational performance.
- Strong continuous improvement mindset with a focus on measurable outcomes.
- Naturally curious with the ability to spot opportunities where others see challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to translate innovative ideas into practical business solutions.
- Experience coaching, mentoring or supporting teams through change and adoption initiatives.
- Passion for helping others develop confidence and capability in emerging technologies.
- Background in transformation, business improvement, consulting, change, delivery or operational excellence.
- Experience working across complex organisational environments and multiple stakeholder groups.
Benefits
- Opportunity to shape AI adoption across a large enterprise.
- High-profile role with broad organisational exposure.
- Work at the intersection of transformation, technology and business strategy.
- Strong leadership commitment to innovation and capability uplift.
- Collaborative culture focused on learning, experimentation and continuous improvement.
- Hybrid working environment based in Melbourne (Sydney considered).
- Occasional interstate travel.
