A leading Financial Services company is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the end-to-end delivery of a new settlements platform. This key role is vital in bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions, ensuring successful project execution and stakeholder alignment.

About the Role:
The Senior Business Analyst will be involved in conducting workshops, process mapping, requirements gathering, documentation, and facilitating communication between business users and technical teams. The position reports directly to the Delivery Manager, serving as a crucial conduit to ensure the delivery of a complex re-platforming initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to identify and document business needs
• Map existing processes and design future state workflows
• Gather, analyse, and document detailed business requirements
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for IT teams
• Support the development and testing of system solutions
• Assist in change management and user acceptance testing (UAT)

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the Financial Services sector
• Demonstrated success in end-to-end project delivery, particularly in re-platforming core finance or lending systems
• Experience with process mapping, requirements documentation, and stakeholder management
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Familiarity with settlements processes (desired but not mandatory)
• Proactive, confident and calm under pressure

Preferred Qualifications:

• Past involvement in re-platforming core finance or lending systems
• Experience with financial system implementations or upgrades
• Knowledge of Agile or other project management frameworks
