About The Role

Talenza have been engaged to find a Systems Analyst to support a large, complex Microsoft identity environment, with a focus on Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID discovery and analysis.

You'll investigate configurations, policies, objects and dependencies to identify security gaps, redundant/unused components, and remediation opportunities. The role is very documentation heavy. Turning technical findings into clear requirements and actionable engineering work packages (scope, dependencies, acceptance criteria, expected outcomes).

Requirements

• Confident stakeholder engagement and facilitation across infra, security, engineering and architecture teams.
• Proven experience as a Systems Analyst in large, complex infrastructure environments (regulated preferred)
• Strong technical understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (directory services, auth/access controls, groups, policies, integrations)
• Proven experience analysing AD/Entra configurations to identify issues, security gaps, redundant/unused objects and remediation paths
• Strong IAM/security understanding (privileged access, authentication, directory security controls)
• Ability to conduct technical discovery and connect dependencies across complex Microsoft environments
• Strong requirements gathering skills, able to translate findings into actionable engineering work (scope, dependencies, acceptance criteria)
• Strong technical documentation skills (analysis docs, requirements specs, remediation plans)
• Comfortable in change-controlled environments with governance/risk/security processes
