A major organisation is seeking an experienced SOC Manager to join the team and optimise their security operations capabilities.

Own security operations and define the roadmap for ongoing enablement and uplift.

Work with leading cyber technologies, work with a substantial cyber budget and gain experience with AI and automation!

This role requires a leader who is also hands on.

Responsibilities:

• Develop SOC processes, playbooks and workflows as well as vulnerability management practices
• Manage a team of SOC Analysts, CTI professionals and the analysts from the MSSP
• Manage the relationship with the MSSP
• Oversee the optimisation and fine tuning of SIEM, SOAR, EDR and other detection & response technologies
• Provide regular reporting on Cyber Security Operations performance metrics
• Conduct regular threat hunting activities and stay abreast of cyber threat actors

Desired experience:

• 5+ years of SecOps/Incident Response experience with;
• at least 3 years of leadership experience
• experience defining SOC and vulnerability management processes, workflows and playbooks
• ability to be technical and hands on
• experience with threat hunting and threat intelligence
