Senior Business Analyst | Data & Financial Crime / Reg Reporting

• Location: Sydney (Hybrid)

• Rate: $950/day + Super

• Contract: Initial 12 Months

Are you a data-savvy Senior Business Analyst looking for your next high-impact role? We are partnering with a leading financial institution to secure a Senior BA with deep expertise in data analysis and financial services regulatory experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bridge the gap between business stakeholders, data engineers, and compliance teams.

• Deliver core data mapping, lineage, and root-cause analysis for complex domain datasets.

• Draft comprehensive BRDs, functional specs, and data-flow diagrams.

What We're Looking For:

• Extensive Business Analysis experience within financial services, ideally banking

• Strong SQL skills, data profiling, and experience working with large-scale relational databases or cloud data platforms.

• Proven background in Financial Crime (AML/CTF, Sanctions, Transaction Monitoring) is highly desirable. Candidates with strong experience in Regulatory Reporting (APRA, ASIC, MiFID) are also strongly encouraged to apply.

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical data insights into actionable business outcomes.
