Role: Systems Integration Lead
Pay Rate: $140/hour + Super
Contract Length: Initial 6-week contract with potential extension
Location: Canberra / Remote options considered

This is a senior, hands-on integration role with a strong focus on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API-led integration and Salesforce integration. You'll take ownership of the design and delivery of secure enterprise integrations across internal business systems, Salesforce and external platforms.

The Role

Reporting to the Director, Digital Solutions, you will provide technical leadership across integration architecture, development and delivery, while remaining hands-on with the design, development and implementation of MuleSoft solutions.

You'll work closely with solution architects, business analysts, vendors and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure and reusable integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and delivery of enterprise integration solutions.
• Design and develop MuleSoft integrations across enterprise applications, Salesforce and external platforms.
• Define integration architecture, design patterns, API standards and development practices.
• Design and implement REST APIs, data transformations, orchestration and secure system-to-system integrations.
• Translate business requirements into technical integration designs, data flows and interface specifications.
• Manage API design, automation, error handling, monitoring and deployment activities.
• Work closely with architects, BAs, vendors and delivery teams to conduct technical and design reviews.
• Lead integration testing, code reviews, defect resolution and quality assurance.
• Produce technical specifications, integration documentation, operational procedures and support handover material.
• Provide technical advice across integration strategy, security, platform capabilities and continuous improvement.

About You

• 3+ years' commercial MuleSoft Anypoint Platform experience - mandatory.
• Strong hands-on experience designing, developing and supporting enterprise integrations.
• Strong experience with API-led connectivity, REST APIs, data transformation and orchestration.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other enterprise applications using MuleSoft.
• Strong understanding of integration architecture, API management, authentication and integration security.
• Experience troubleshooting complex integration and data-quality issues.
• Experience working within Agile and DevOps delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.

Highly desirable certifications and experience include:

• Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Developer II
• Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Platform Architect
• Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Platform Integration Architect
• Salesforce integration patterns
• SQL
• DevOps practices
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Engineering or a related discipline.
