Talenza have partnered with a leading financial services firm on the search for a technology governance lead. This organisation has a clear member-focused purpose, collaborative culture and a healthy approach to work-life balance.

You will join the Technology Capability & Performance team, strengthening how Technology makes decisions, measures performance and provides transparent reporting to executives and the Board.

This role spans technology performance, investment, risk and service delivery, with scope to improve governance across a complex enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities

* Develop and improve governance frameworks, decision rights, authority matrices and forum charters.
* Operate senior governance forums, overseeing agendas, papers, actions and reporting.
* Coordinate the technology policy and standards lifecycle.
* Strengthen performance reporting across KPIs, SLAs and operational metrics.
* Provide clear insights into technology health, resilience, investment value and service performance.
* Align governance across Architecture, Portfolio, Risk, Finance and Delivery.
* Identify governance gaps and streamline processes to improve accountability and decision-making.

About you

* Strong experience in technology governance and enterprise decision-making frameworks.
* Knowledge of COBIT, ITIL/ITSM and technology performance management.
* Experience operating senior governance forums and producing executive-quality reporting.
* Familiarity with CPS 230, CPS 234, SPS 220 or comparable financial regulatory requirements.
* Understanding of investment governance, portfolio lifecycles and benefits realisation.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and written communication skills

Financial services or other highly regulated industry experience will be highly regarded.
