We are seeking an experienced Senior Change Manager to support a major Federal Government cyber security uplift program.
This role will lead organisational change activities across two significant streams of work: the establishment and adoption of a new vulnerability management capability, and the development and implementation of a broader Cyber Security operating model.
This is a senior, hands-on change role suited to someone who has worked across complex ICT, cyber security or enterprise transformation programs and is comfortable engaging with technical teams, business stakeholders and senior executives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver end-to-end change management strategies, plans, frameworks and supporting artefacts across complex cyber security initiatives.
Lead change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, readiness assessments and change-risk management across multiple workstreams.
Translate complex cyber security and technical changes into clear business impacts, practical interventions and adoption activities.
Develop and deliver stakeholder engagement, communications, workshops, consultation and change-readiness activities.
Support the implementation of new roles, responsibilities, governance structures, processes and ways of working as part of a new Cyber Security operating model.
Coordinate change activities across interconnected technology and security initiatives, identifying dependencies, overlaps and cumulative impacts.
Establish measures for readiness, adoption, implementation progress and benefits realisation.
Work with senior leaders and delivery teams to manage resistance and support sustainable adoption of change.
Build internal change capability through coaching, mentoring, knowledge transfer and documentation.
About You
Significant organisational change management experience at a senior / EL1-equivalent level.
5+ years' experience delivering change across large-scale ICT or technology programs.
Strong experience within Federal Government or another highly regulated environment.
Demonstrated experience leading complex change involving multiple stakeholder groups and competing workstreams.
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, facilitation and executive-influencing capability.
Experience supporting major cyber security, security uplift, technology transformation or operating-model change initiatives.
Experience introducing new governance arrangements, business processes, accountabilities, roles and ways of working.
A recognised change management qualification such as Prosci, Change Management Institute accreditation, Agile Change Leadership or equivalent practitioner-level certification.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and operate effectively within a complex multidisciplinary environment.
Candidates with direct exposure to vulnerability management or cyber security programs will be particularly relevant.
Experience with platforms or environments involving Rapid7, Tenable, Archer, ForeScout or comparable vulnerability-management technologies would be advantageous, but is not mandatory.
Previous experience supporting the design or implementation of an enterprise or divisional operating model would also be highly regarded.
