Our client is a leading healthcare and diagnostic services organisation with operations spanning pathology, laboratory medicine, radiology and specialist healthcare services. Supporting thousands of employees across multiple business units, the organisation is investing heavily in workforce technology and digital transformation to better support its frontline workforce and ongoing growth. This is a permanent role based in Macquarie Park with hybrid working options.
Having successfully deployed UKG Pro Workforce Management across the majority of the business, the organisation is now entering its next phase of platform maturity, focused on optimisation, enhanced functionality and the onboarding of additional business entities.
Role
As UKG Application Specialist you will be joining an established team and play a pivotal role in the ongoing evolution of the organisation's UKG platform.
Working within a specialist Workforce Technology team, you will act as a technical SME for UKG Workforce Management, supporting both operational excellence, strategic enhancement and roadmap initiatives. The environment is currently leveraging core capabilities including Time & Attendance, Scheduling and Rostering, with significant opportunities to unlock additional functionality across analytics, forecasting, mobile workforce solutions and compliance management.
This role will suit someone who enjoys a blend of formulating and driving strategic initiatives, configuration, integration, stakeholder engagement, continuous improvement and advanced application support.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to maximise existing UKG functionality and return on investment.
- Contribute to the strategic UKG roadmap and future enhancement programs.
- Support the onboarding of business entities onto the UKG platform.
- Provide Level 3 support for UKG Workforce Management and related workforce applications.
- Configure, maintain and optimise UKG Workforce Management solutions.
- Support the expansion of Workforce Analytics, Attestation and Forecasting functionality.
- Enhance Enterprise Agreement, award interpretation and compliance configurations.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Operations and Technology stakeholders to deliver platform improvements.
- Support integration activities with broader HR and workforce systems.
You Will Have
- Proven experience working in complex enterprise environments of UKG Pro Workforce Management, UKG Dimensions or Kronos Workforce Management.
- Healthcare domain experience highly advantageous
- Strong knowledge of:
- Time & Attendance
- Scheduling
- Rostering
- Workforce compliance
- Leave and accrual management
- Pay rule configuration
- Experience providing Level 2/3 application support within an enterprise environment.
- Experience with UKG Analytics and Forecasting modules.
- Exposure to UKG mobile capabilities.
- Hands-on configuration and administration experience within UKG environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting workforce technology roadmaps, enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
- The ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience working with external vendors, system integrators or professional services teams.
- Experience integrating UKG with iChris, Workday or other HRIS/payroll solutions.
- Previous involvement in UKG implementation, optimisation or transformation programs.
